Dental Pharmacology deals with the pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, therapeutic applications, drug interactions, and adverse effects of various drugs frequently used in dental practice or in association with dental science. Pharmacology lectures are provided as a part of the PBL classes and review sessions. Major interests of research are: 1) Discovery of biomodulators for Bone formation and chondrogenic differentation; and 2) Elucidation of the signal transduction pathways involved in bone remodeling.
